We make this with kids at various Leonardo's Basement events and promos. Takes all of 5 minutes using a hot glue gun with the kids positioning the parts. The "balloon animal of musical instruments."The string is elastic cord from a craft store.

I make jewelry. Custom waxes, so I think I will be starting soon on a CBG earing? How long are you liking? 10-to 15mm? 1/2 to 3/4 inch? The back of the box would have to be hollowed out to save weight & gold, but I think that I can cast up a couple pairs and put then the photo gallery. Thanks for the idea. Cost would be the gold and labor. I'll get back to you on that, there is a newly developed Silver tends to tarnish much less, but for earings at least go with the gold post or french wire?
