I like it. I have to make sure the face of the box does not loose any of it's value too. I always take the box decal or picture on the face into factor in where I place the holes for all the hardware I am going to place on the box.
No problem. Thanks. I think I have made some plans here that might work. What I'm'a gonna do is to put in a "filler" inside the box that will act to hold the neck, allow for the hardware to be attached and wiring routed, and have a good solid foot for the tailpiece. Two hums and a wraparound tailpiece.
No Plans. It is all in my head. I just look at a box and find and old guitar and parts from a buy and sell store or garage sale and put it together. The Cigar Boxes come from a cigr shop down the street. He throws them out so he gave me a few to work on. I try to use the decal on the boxes as much as possible. This site gives me lots of ideas too. Sorry could not be more help but its all in my head.
Do you have specs (plans) on how you built this? I'm looking into the same thing and would like some direction. Box dimensions, how the neck was attached, pre-built neck(?). Message me.
