first attempt was the "ruby" found at runoffgroove.com, thought at first is wasn't working correctly, but my Piezo was just not positioned correctly. part of the learning curve. I ended up taping the pick up to the underside of the neck, where it seemed to work best. Any input on placement will be gladly accepted. I've also seen the use of two peizos... i may try this on the next project.
Very nice! I have all the parts assembled and am getting ready to solder one together from scratch too. Is that a regular car stereo speaker? Does it work well? I haven't been to happy with the shipping prices for getting speakers online and have been thinking about raiding the local pawn shop.
