That's exactly what I was going to do! Car hoods are great material for that kind of stuff too. I grew up with a foundry, machine shop and auto restoration shop on our farm. I want to also set up a wheelchair accessible foundry. I'm past the learning curve on brass and bronze casting. It'd be nice to cast some custom guitar parts some day.
