  • Thanks! These old cans I bought as a lot on eBay last winter. The new ones, I get from friends who still shoot on film. Sometimes I leave 'em alone, just hitting them with a few coats of clear coat before assembling. Sometimes I paint  them. I have been wanting to do one in "Kodak Yellow" for a while now. This is pretty close. I'm still setting up this one, but shot some vid of a buddy playing a couple of the silver ones. I f i can figure out how to upload it from my iPad, I'll post it later.   Yeah, I'd love to find one of those old reel cases, Clyde!

  • Beautiful craftsmanship.  Great look all the way around.  I’ve been keeping an eye out for the reel cases for resonators.  Surprisingly, the yellow works.

  • Awesome build, amazing attention to detail. Well done!

  • slick as  puppy  shit  ;-)

  • I like the yellow.

  • So...did you happen across a stash of these in the basement when you purchased your building (an old church, right)?

Do you have any video of how your builds sound? I am always curious when I see one here.
