I made this from a ~100 year old black locust fence post that was in the ground behind my house. It is modeled after "The Edge" brass slide that I bought from Shane. I love this type slide, but the solid brass is heavy sometimes. The bone tip give it a real gritty sound on the wound strings and it doesn't have as much sustain as the solid brass, but still good.
