i made it about a month ago or so fer a different project jay. all it is, is a 1/4 thick piece of wood that has a little arch at the front due to the wood warping. i made a pattern first out of cardboard and strategicly placed the cardboard pattern where the warp was on the wood.then next i traced it out and cut it with a coping saw ,drilled the string pass thru holes, added the ferrules from rivet housings,found an old piezo in an old cb radio pa horn, hot glued it under the tailpiece to see if that might get good sound. added a piece of black saddle leather under the tailpiece to seal the piezo inside the tailpiece. hope it works on this project.i tested the piezo and it works,the cb radio pa thing was prolly from the 70,s when smokey and the bandit was popular haaaaaaaaaaa.
