Rough mockup of the cardboard box guitar design I will use for the kids summer recreation program. Weedeater strings, poplar necks, eyescrew tuners.

    Yes you can...I've tried a couple of licks I know and it sounded great. I've got to figure out some simple tab for the kids to follow. With any luck I will have a music teacher there to help put the kids together into a semblance of a band and actually do a tune together. They will be really young kids 6-10 yrs old so just making noise will be the real tune of the day. I've devised a piezo I can slip under their bridges one at a time and let them amp up their guitar. It sounds pretty cool.

    I only have the gauge of string for the mockup, we will use some thinner ones for the higher pitch strings, some cool colours too!
