When Justin AndNikki were here in Sept. of last year they brought me an awesome bag full of goodies :-) One of the items was this double barrel contraption mounted on this walnut board, it is 2 cigar barrels that had been glued together by Bob Johnson to be used to hold a bag of wine and the spout would come out the back hole (which is now a sound port). Anyways Justin and Nikki thought maybe I could make something of it, so after studying it for a while and thinking about the speaker tubes they make for surround sound systems and remembering the nail keg build that Jason Mills did this is what I came up with. 3" oversized magnet speaker, 9 volt 2.5 watt Artec amp, chicken head knob. It was a tight fit to get inside and work but it worked out well and I'm VERY happy with the sound it puts out, low gutsy tone. This is one way to build a "tube " amp I suppose :-) Thanks so much Justin and Nikki, LOVE it!!! Photos were taken in front of my cabin next to the bird feeder, I had to scare the squirrels away to take the pics. They were not happy, little red sumbeaches :-)
