I was throwing out some crappy old harps when I realized that the covers could make cool tail pieces (string fasteners).My plan is to mount one horizontally on the butt end of the box using the holes that are already there. Not the strongest metal, so just peak the top over the box edge with pre-drilled string holes.

Yep, cool. I have a few I've saved but not used yet. Might work as a bridge too depending on the neck angle?
