All kinds of junk made from thrift store and scrounged items. I've seen many blogs in which someone writes that you can't make just one and I have to admit they were right, at least in my case. More builds in progress...

Hey Michael. The bullet holes are some magnets from an auto parts store. You just gave me a good idea though. I'm gonna drill the centers out for sound holes. Why didn't I think of that? Thanks a bunch!
Thanks Hank! I've got me a big old red cookie tin and I'm really thinking about making a dobro-style or lap steel type guitar out of it. But on the other hand I don't have a canjo left and I really miss not having one. But on the other, other hand, I found two more cigar boxes at the flea market yesterday...

Thanks for the kind words. The canjos are fun to build and play. These are all fretless but play pretty easily. There are some crude videos of these in action on YouTube. If you search Youtube for "mrbangham" you will see me trying to coax some songs out of them. Good luck with your builds. Gimme a yell if you get stuck. I found a neat workaround for the fifth string the other day. CUL8TR
