For three weeks I've tried different ways to adhere a photo to the back of this box with HUGE failures. This morning I decided to go back to square one and dive in. If it failed then I'd just have to buy another box. Here's the mock up. I would have liked to push it more left instead of dead center but the bridge would sit right about where the helmet is. You can't see it but there is a combat infantry badge that will go over the tail piece. The dog tags will hang on a chain from the neck. I should be putting a clear coat on today and finishing it soon. I'm liking this one and can't wait to hear it!

Two things you might try that crafters use a lot is Mod Podge - Which is available in a variety of finishes, Mod Podge is a milky white liquid that dries transparent in less than 10 minutes. Use it as a finish for découpage. It seals and glues in one application and you can wipe up spills with a damp cloth. The other is E6000 which comes as a jell or spray and is a heavy duty permanent glue that can be use on a variety of mediums, including fabric, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, leather, rubber, vinyl and many plastics. The almighty Google can tell you more.
