The Jamplifier is a guitar and amp in one. It has an 1/8" input jack for your media player and a 1/4" output jack for playing through a larger amp. Use of the 1/4" jack automatically switches off the internal amp. The media input and piezo bridge pickup each have their own volume control so you can achieve a good mix when jamming over music or prerecorded accompaniment.
