Sure will! Lots of ways to skin this cat, and they all give a different sound. This pickup delivers a pretty loud, natural-sounding signal that can run all the way to front-of-house, which granted is not how CBG is usually used. But if you play festivals, or your Americana folk band goes global and plays Lolapalooza next year, or if you play for children's birthday parties and you want to dance around (like the guy who owns this instrument), then something like this may be handy.

The pickup is taped to the head just behind the bridge; the sheilded circuit is stuck to the frame with Velcro; the mic jack is stuck to the outside also with Velcro.
