Hi everyone. I'm from South Africa and new here. Just thought I'd share my Caltex oil can electric guitar that I'm busy building. So far, I've cut the can in half to make it thinner, Made my Mahogany insert to accommodate the Bridge, Pickups and neck. Also made the neck from Maple with a Rosewood fretboard. I've still got to place and route the pickups., make the pickup surrounds, finish the wiring, assemble, string and set her up.
