Its just the cover, I have probably too many broken harps lying about and thought it looked cool. What I did do that you might find interesting, is run a piezo rod underneath the cover, wedged between a thick rubber band on top and bottom of the rod. (I cut the rubber band into two strips) The amp sound is actually quite nice.
