  • Hal,

Sorry for the late reply and thank you Rusty for the HF suggestion). I got mine at the local True Value. They also come in two varieties. I decided to go with the smaller and less expensive of the two because I didn't see myself using that type of tool very often. If you do plan on getting one, spend a little extra.

    Thanks, Dave

  • Thanks Mark!

  • I got mine at Harbor Freight. A lot of folks don't know that they shouldn't be run at speeds much over 600 rpm. I watched a guy try to use one at about 1800 rpm at the cabinet shop I worked at, and sure enough, one of the cutters was thrown off. Luckily the butt end of the cutter hit him in the arm and not the blade. He had a nasty bruise, but it could have been a lot worse.

I just checked and HF still carries them:

  • Dave -

I've been trying to find one of those adjustable circle cutters, but my local Home Depot and Lowe's no longer carry them (seems some idiots try to use them in a hand drill).  Where did you get yours?
