  • Whatever...but it is a beautiful guitar.  I'll keep my eye out for a Monte Cristo box like that.

  • Sorry, I really don't know how they do the graphics on this box. I didn't have any part of the graphics on it.  It is just the way it came from wherever they make the box.  It changes with the angle you view it from.  Sometimes you see the "MO" and sometimes you don't.  Must be magic.

  • Roger, Thanks.

The conception was mine, but the artwork was done by a graphic artist.

I use "transparent" label paper.  Avery.  You run it through the printer, cut out the design (circle in this instance), peel off the backing and press it on.  The "paper" is more like a plastic sheet, thin and very strong.  The adhesive seems good.  Strong, but you can peel it off in an emergency, like when you screw it up during application.  It is not really transparent, but maybe 1/2 transparent.

Was yours made with a similar process?

  • That is great Gary !   I would have probably never noticed if you had not said look closely to it.

You do very nice work, and on a boat to boot.

  • Tou can find a photo if my image at the Group  Home made resonator boxes-comment wall about the 5th one down.

Also on this photo site p6.

Let me know what you think.  Look closely at the text on the label.

    Gary.

  • Thanks Gary.  If you can, email me or post a photo of yours.  I would like to see it.

  • I like your Monte Cristo graphics.   I have done something vaguely similar.
