    Not different heights but staggered for intonation.  I copied the top profile from a stock mandolin bridge and yes the neck has two carbon fiber support trusses running through it.

    How does the bridge work on that? Are they on different heights? Is that normal on a mandolin?
    (Showing my mando-ignorance there).

    Also is the neck reinforced for eight strings?
