Gorgeous build Larry. Love the neck, headstock and all the detail you put into it. I have the parts but still haven't started building my first bass. Yours is a mighty high bar that I'm sure I won't reach.
I built the guitar as a neck through and reinforced the inside of the box to give it strength. The Sapele and Walnut heel go all the way through the box. Single coil pickups.
The re-birth of the Witch Doctor, El Brujito. The 4 string Bass guitar 32" scale has a curly ambrosia maple fret board and headstock. The back of the neck is laminated blood wood, birdseye maple and wenge and curly maple.
