All done and ready for new homes now......a 3 string resonator.....a 1 string diddley bow......and a 3 string headless.......my next builds are a Dulcimer tuned......a 4 string.....a short scale......an acoustic .....and a bass.....pheww....happy plucking

not at all Dave......all comments are valid and often useful......when I play it my wrist is nowhere near the string ends but thats just me......your point about catching your wrist on them is very valid and when I make my next headless I will change the position of the tuners to make sure that the string ends are out of the way.....Thank you.......
I'm glad you didn't take my comment as criticism. I get a little hole or two in my hide with each guitar I make even with the headstock in the conventional mode. I don't play 5 string banjo because of the tuner at the 5th fret, that string end always gets me. I guess I have string end fear. :^)
