Iscored a heap of laminated merbau beams a few weeks back,at the same time that Shane Speal posted his make a 2x4 lap steel,so i thought ,why not?,main trunk is the merbau,fretboard is jarrah set in to it,chinese buckers,[not bad],some aluminium plate,2 vols,500 a's,with diodes to help in pup separation,1 tone,now i need to learn to play it,it's almost the opposite technique of what i'm not very good at anyway
