That's sounds like an awesome night! Pity I live too far away:-( nothing like few friends around watching a bad movie and having a laugh!
Army of darkness is planned for my next build 3 stringer depending on how well the diddley bow sounds! Kinda sentiment movie was the first movie me and my wife watched together she loved it and I thought yes she's a keeper! :-)
Got kind of a tradition here on Saturday nights if the weather is good.
Move the big screen out of the shop onto the deck, fire up the grill, and ice down the beer. Anybody that wants to can show up. We eat, play a little music, drink a few beers, watch a bad movie or two, sit around the fire afterwards picking, drinking and telling lies till the sun comes up. I don't have any neighbors near enough to offend plus it's hard to offend with the noise when said neighbors are usually at the get together. :-)
Ha ha ya heard so much about movie was really looking forward to it the return of Rudger! But it's such a low budget movie was real disappointed with it if I didn't hear all the positive reviews and just watched it I might have thought it was fairly good but was hyped up way too much!
But I loved cult movies and I love the poster real 80s throwback! Was a toss up between that and Evil Dead but because it's one string pickup is lengthwise along the box and would cover too much of the image so chose Hobo With. A Shotgun instead! Guna call it my Hobo diddley Bow! :-)
