    Your Yellow pine looks just like Doug. Red grain lines on a honey background. It will sound great. Nice job!

    This is old yellow pine re-claimed from a building renovation I worked on. Its been in the shed 5 years waiting for a project.

    Looking good Daryl. Looks like Douglas Fir on the body. I have a band mate that built a beautiful mandolin using the bottom plank from an old garage door (Doug Fir).
