Ok let me explain this pic. These are chameleons Ive built (my name for them) The very first one I made is on the right (top), its a 20 string solid body, and it used to have a wooden bridge but I am in the middle of converting it to a custom made adjustable bridge you see here that I made myself. It also sports a special bass bridge, three pickups. 5 way switch, two tone pots, a volume pot, and a 1/4 inch jack. I just also added frets and I am about to string it again. It sounded sweet before but I also changed the fingerboard from curved to a flat one and added these frets you see here. which was complex on its own due to multiple scales and many frets stopping in the middle of the fingerboard to allow an area that is still fretless. OK...that was a mouth full. NEXT up we have the HOLLOW BODY (bottom) which I made second. It has 16 strings and The ENTIRE neck, ALL THE WAY UP TO THE NUTS, IS HOLLOW!!! This one has two chambers that run the full length and a backbone that strengthens it with custom (ha!) channels that allow the movement of sound. Has Humbucker pickups, and a 1/4 inch jack. I Am almost ready to unveil NUMBER THREE CHAMELEON...... Its VERY special..
