How I ground my strings

I thought I would share how I ground my strings. I found that solid copper 12 gauge wire is a nice fit in the string spools. The copper wire is a combination ground/ retainer for the strings. For the ground, I simply solder a wire from the 1/4" jack to the copper wire and cover it with a wire nut for looks and to eliminate scraps.
