sorry, i overlooked your tuning in the description, d'oh! but have you ever played around with gG/cc/eE tuning?
six stringers in pairs just seem like they would work so well as a tres cubano.

do you tune it open like a 3 stringer, or in the style of a cubano tres (gG/cc/eE)?
