  • dig!
  • It is something a person has to do for awhile before it becomes comfortable, but I bet if you tried you could lay down some nice lines. You should give it a try, and a cigar box is a nice , small platform.
  • That is very cool. I was just looking at some Ed Roth vehicles the other day. Your pinstriping is very good it is definitely a skilled artform, my shakey hands could never form such nice lines.
  • Thanks Colin. I started pinstriping at age 14 (55 years ago), when I first saw what Ed Roth and some of the others were doing at the time, totally facinated by the line work. It didn't hurt that I had a natural aptitude for the arts. That progressed into hotrodding, when I was old enough to drive, and thanks to a grandfather who was a mechanic, I found this to be a great hobby. So, all these years later, after building my last hotrod four years ago, I've found an outlet that affords me the opportunity to do everything I like . . . create and paint. No, I was never a 'real' bodyman or painter, I just picked up the knowledge and ability along the way.
  • very cool, did you used to do body/paint work?
