I sacrificed a 15W Behringer amp with a broken speaker and was able to easily fit it in the case alongside the guitar. Next step is to adapt it to run on battery power, then I will add an interior lining to protect the guitar. And a carry handle.

Thanks guys. I was amazed at how small the volume of the amp was. Most of the space is used just to make room for the knobs, switches and jack ports. The original 8" speaker was no good but a $10 4"x10" 50W automotive speaker seems to work well enough. I have the original carry handle from the top of the amp so I will probably use it on this.
