Incidentally the tiny instrument is a Bolivian 10 string CHARANGO - Walaycho.
No Richmond is quite a way from me
I use Cookie / Biscuit Tins for CBGs as well.
That's a good looking group! Do you know Ron Gentry down in Richmond? He has a Uke group there and they have a large gathering every Nov. There are some folks there with my cookie tin ukes.
After making around 25 CBGs I had a go at a Ukulele. Failed
Machine heads too near Nut and scale all wrong even though I copied a Shop bought Tenor uke.
Making one from a kit at the moment. Our village (small) has gone from a Guitar Club Village to a Uke Village
so I must adapt.
Is there actually a Ukulele Group ???
Thanks! They sound good too....you can hear them on our youtube channel...
