My favorite six string is the single pup Tulip "Global" Teisco on the left. The big two pup Teisco on the right has quite the tone but not as good a player as the Tulip. I got the Tulip from Music Go Round in good working order. The two pup Teisco came from ebay. I fixed the electronics and made a bridge and nut. I removed one switch that didn't do anything but change tone. It had a short in it. Once gone the guitar came alive.
