Jacks on the left side. I also clipped the motor wires so that when you put in an old broken tape it will turn the amp on and not run the tape. Radio still works. This amp is real loud. Powered by a bunch of batteries or the cord for the wall plug.

Yes it does have a tone knob, it's the smaller of the two. It works too. I have my Sony Sports boom box ready with it's new parts. The Sony has tone knob and also a Mega Bass switch. My guess the Sony will out perform the GE 8-Track. The battle runs on......
