Thanks for the details Graham! I understand designing on the fly all too well. I just jump in and start building. Unfortunately, sometimes I don’t think things all the way through. It’s part of the fun of experimenting.
It's a 23" scale length, I had to make the wooden tuning peg to tune the guitar as it was too hard with my fat fingers. I have it tuned to Open G. This was a "can I make one" no plan just designed it on the fly. I have a plan to make a better one with volume/tone and a bigger hole for the tuners.
Intriguing design Graham! I’m curious…What is the scale length and tuning? How is the tuning process working out with the tuning pegs? It would be great to see a video of you playing your travel guitar.
