Not a cigar box, but kinda close. i wanted a banjo for learning clawhammer and/or trying to get an Indian style sound.so... picked up a frame drum real cheap on craigslist, and made a neck for it out of a pretty maple.fretless banjos are fun.

thanks guys. it sure is fun to play around with! i never cared for the sound of a cookie tin banjo.... at least not any of the ones i ever made.
