Ok, the third wire was on the buzzer I bought from radio smack. It was connected to a little PCB. No idea what for. All I know is that sound was better from the other one. The little piece of foam is an anti-feedback trick. Seems to damp out vibrations just enough that I can crank this thru my 100 watt Fender Mustang amp on a Bassman setting. The glue is Gorilla brand CA glue(crazy glue) just starting to set up.
Robert, I think he has just replaced the light wires that came on the piezo. Some folks think they get better sound if they sandwich the piezo in hot melt glue and sometimes I think they use some foam rubber. Kind of an insulating effect.
Over easy. Wichita Sam was telling me he does something like this and gets better sound and less buzz. Is that the case for you? And how many mg of cholesterol?

Okay I'll bite.
What are the extra braided copper wires?
