Fretting hammers

An ultra simple prototype hardwood fret setting hammer and a more swish looking one prompted by me always hitting the hardwood caul too hard and mislaying my (totally inappropriate) hard rubber mallet. Both are essentially made from the same hardwood decking offcuts I make my fret boards from. The prototype is just held together with a screw and a dowel in the end and got me through half a dozen fret boards before I decided I needed a proper one. I was initially disappointed by the newer one because at first both ends were the larger square end size, which would mark the fret board if the face was even slightly off square. A rasp and a bit of sweat have resulted in a roughly just under one inch circle end and a big square end roughly one and a half inches square. Also useful for tapping small carving chisels or bending thin metals with minimal marking when required. The handle is the length and width left over when I ripped a decking off cut to fretboard making width.
