Finally got organized and wound some nice coil pickups on sewing bobbins after many failures (ie: much learning). These two are humbuckers are destine for some diddley bows. Standard size 'Singer" sewing bobbins; 1/4 X 1/2 in. neodymium magnets; 38 AWG copper wire wound at approx. 3500 wraps per bobbin; potted in paraffin/bee's wax mix; 680 ohms per finished humbucker. NOTE: For what it's worth, I found the 38 AWG wire much more forgiving and sturdy than the 42 AWG wire I also tried...
