Freely vibrating top.

Though there was a great article arguing for traditional guitar building practices (because double tops only last as long as the glue used to make them and lattice bracing makes classical guitars uncomfortably loud in small and medium sized performance spaces, may do undesirable things to the balance between chaotic tones and clear ones, how quickly the clear tones finally speak, and armrests don't perceptibly improve the vibration of the top) I think an elevated fingerboard which doesn't dampen the vibration of the top and the kind of thing seen in this picture should surely improve the volume if not the tone of modern instruments. This pic not only improves the vibration of the top plate but also becomes a soundport also, helping you be able to hear yourself without bending over the guitar AND helps people around you in the ensemble hear you better too without so much assistance from monitor speakers or headphones. What do you think about this?
