Signal out and chicken knob for volume. I routed out a hole for the volume (it has a short stalk), then botled a piece of galvanized over the hole to mount the pot. One obvious compromise/mistake - I cut the box for a neck-through design, then change my mind mid-project to a string-trhough box instead. A rustic look, but the new owner doesn't mind ...
