While I was using a hammer "Distressing" the Oak I broke it. I glued and clamped it back together. This is when I decided to go Full Out "Frankenstein" theme with the scars/stitches.

Yep, it seems to have all worked out. I really need to reduce the friction/strain on the strings by replacing the metal rod with some type of independent rollers. There is a very high resistance felt when tuning it. I have a few ideas to try out. I'll do an update when I get it right!
