Usually I make them with scalopped frame; this one was made on demand with a rectangular one. What's your opinion? - Straight rectangular or scalopped like a picture frame?

I like the option of both, but for me, colour is important too. The fittings on the Fiddlestick are brass/black so I painted the Flatpup frame to match. I think that the black really shows up the tone of the copper nicely. It gets test-fitted today :-)
Below is a link to a photo of the guitar this is going on (note the middle string is missing). I thought the right angle frame would look good with the angular lightning bolt sound holes. For me it is a question of overall design. If it had round or curved soundholes, I might have gone with the scalopped frame. Thank you for making it this way Elmar! I think it will look (and sound) great.
I love your original flatpups with the shapely edges but this way looks good too. I think they each have their place and I think you will sell a lot of these plain ones too, if you offer them this way. Either way, they are a quality product from Elmar Z!!!

Thanks Elmar, put me down as a buyer when one is available. Thanks, Dave
thanks for you input. Dave, I think so too. I will make some simple straight black ones.
I like the simple square. It fits the box shape nicely. I like the black frame color like Diglydog...
