If it looks like beer bottle tops, then it sound like beer bottle tops! Good luck with the kayak trolleys, is this another weird instrument? Remember to post a pic of double lever when completed.
I hadn't heard of it either until I did some searches for beer top percussion:

I have an idea for a double lever system to get some extra jingle but first I have to build two kayak trolleys!
I did not know the term "Largerphone" I like it, but its more of a bitterphone. Its about as loud as a tambourine, it might be better of the plastic was removed form the tops. I was thinking of adding some bells.
