4 ceramic disk magnets stacked and glued from craft store, Copper wire recovered from a (transformer?) inside of a printer. Very tricky to unwind and rewind, but did it!potted the wire with layers of super glue and shellac. Only about 750 windings-clean sound even on dirty settings.
