Also, it has a really high action, but it's great for playing flat. The nut is a piece of dog bone I stole from my nephews hound. I dremeled it down and hooked it up.
This thing I call a PLANKSPANKER. I made it from two pressure treated pickets, some old tuning heads, an old tailpiece, and a tuna can. By holding your hand over the tuna can and waiving your hand, you achieve a "wah" effect. I used a single screw to hold the tuna can to the tailpiece. It resonates awesome and by turning the can counterclockwise and loosening just a bit, it vibrrates and has an almost overdrive distortion effect. I gave this one to me 17 y.o. niece. She loves it and she's not really musically inclined.
