The new top looks nice and sounds great. A set of Nickle Rocker 9s brought her to life after 50 or more years of silence.

    The old top fretboard had a paper fretmarker on it. It has all the notes for each fret up the board. The nut position has from high string to low: ECAEAE. That's the tuning she's in. It's an Am tuning (I think). Very easy on the neck and strings. It's a nice tuning. Maybe these guitars came with a variety of tunings on paper fret boards. The guitar comes from a school in California back in the 20s and 30s.
