  Yes very cool! I like the strategic placement of the sound holes so  they don't interfere with the bowing.

  Alas, this one did not go too well.  It ultimately failed at the heel join there. I tried a second one with a dowel going through the box and that worked much better.  I am building a box fiddle now, making the box from scratch, again with the dowel going through.  If you go here, you can see the build blog I did while putting that second one together:  http://handmademusic.ning.com/profile/Diane

  Really beautiful Diane! So glad you were able to get the neck to work. The sounds holes are incredible. A reall work of art!
