right so i stuck the fresh printed images on the box with pva and waited for them to dry.i then gave the whole box 2 coats of water based Antique Pine varnish when dried i gave the box 2 coats of a good quality black shoe polish which stay's in the grain well and buffed.i then used 3 coats of old pine Bri wax for furniture and buffed to a nice sheen.
