Fanned Fret Electric Ukulele

I just finished building this electric ukulele. It has a multi-scale fingerboard with the bottom string having a 17 inch scale and the top string having a 18 inch scale. The hot-rail humbucker puts out a great sound. The body shape is my original design.

    All the strings are playable. The middle two strings have 17.333 and 17.666 inch scale lengths.

    I've read about instruments with a variable scale. They were popular in the 1500-1600's. the one you built looks awesome!

    thats really cool . are the middle strings still playable ? like a diff scale for each string .
