front pick guard/mount is laminated with some flame-figured mahogany cigar box liner like I used on the headstock -- that's just CLEAR-COATED! dig the color.Sides are 3/4 inch poplar drilled out chambered, and stained golden, Top painted Black and edges beveled with a file to look a little like binding.
