Cherry veneer where tone and volume pots are installed running crossgrain. Three pieces of poplar for neck block which was routed to match the neck. One piece of poplar for end block and it is also routed to mate with the neck. Glued at neck and tail and #10 panhead screw and washer into then neck block anchoring the neck. The neck is slab cut maple with two re enforcement splines of beech 1/4' wide and 3/8" deep.Using a Ted Crocker pickup with 250K pots and a .047 cap. Sides and back are some kind of cosmetically excellent pine from Home Depot and the top is knotty white pine also from Home Depot.
